Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas allows both athletic paddling for exercise, as well as a nice steady pace to contemplate the view of Christ the Redeemer and the sunset with a view of Morro Dois Irmãos and Pedra da Gávea in the background. There are several possible points of entry and landing for paddlers around the Lagoon. The edge of the Lagoon can be used 7 days a week, in the morning, afternoon and even at night. There are paid parking spaces and easy access by public or private transport.
